Part of Clay to Concrete, Ton Gomes’ first solo fine art exhibition presented at Casa Atelier during Miami Art Week, The Flags I Needed reinterprets the visual structure of the Brazilian flag through color, geometry and hand-drawn texture.

Presented as a complete set, the four works reduce a national symbol to form, surface and memory. Together, they become a small archive of displacement, identity and the need to rebuild belonging from fragments.
